Filling Turret Take-Apart Teflon |
As you know, Pacific's filling turret stationary/top plate is comprised of Teflon and 316 stainless steel.
Until recently, the Teflon and stainless steel components were manufactured as an integral unit. With
this design, replacement of the Teflon plate requires several weeks of downtime.
Our new "take-apart" design allows the Teflon ring to be replaced without the need to replace the upper stainless steel plate. A new Teflon ring is machined complete with fill zones and fastening locators. It is sealed with the stainless plate via a static o-ring seal and fastened via several stainless steel fasteners. Replacement of a worn Teflon unit does not require the lengthy epoxy process. Instead the fastening system allows your mechanics to perform the operation in a few hours. |

This feature is available as a retrofit on your existing Pacific filling machines. The benefit is
reduced downtime and reduced component cost on future replacements.

Extended Service Agreement |
Pacific's Extended Service Agreement is a preventative maintenance, machinery audit program
designed to increase your machine efficiencies and restore the original filling accuracy and operating
condition.
The audit is performed on-site by a Pacific service technician and includes an inspection of the machine drive, filling system, container handling, air system and electrical components. A detailed written summary is provided to document the condition of the machine, complete with recommended actions to improve performance. Whether your operation has one Pacific filler or twenty, the program can be customized to meet your specific objectives. Click here to download specific details. |

Short Lead-Time & Cost Savings |
From time-to-time, Pacific offers "like-new" reconditioned filling machines.
These machines are completely stripped down and rebuilt with new components. Currently,
we have two filling machines to offer with short lead-times at roughly 25% less than the cost
of a new machine:

Filling Turret Top Plate Removal |
There are two main reasons for removing the filling turret top plate. The first is
to periodically inspect the plates for cleanliness as part of your cleaning or sanitation
process. The second is for infrequent reconditioning of the filling turret Teflon
top plate.
In the event removal of your top plate is required, it is important to follow the recommended steps in order to eliminate the risk of permanently damaging the filling turret: |
|
Finally, always remember to think safety first. Taking your time and following the recommend procedure will avoid operator injury in addition to costly damage to the filling system.
