Tool-less Fasteners for Filling Nozzles |
Pacific's filling machines have always supported multiple filling nozzle sizes.
The ability to change nozzles for different applications provides flexibility to fill an
unlimited style of containers and products at a wide range of speeds. The trade-off is
some machine downtime in order to perform the nozzle changeover. On older machines,
the filling nozzles were fastened via a clamping strap and bolt.
As a standard feature, we now offer a fastener system that does not require tools and results in a reduced changeover time. Easy to grip, sanitary wing nuts are used and can be retrofitted on most of our filling machines. If you are interested in reducing your downtime due to nozzle changes, contact Jerry at (949) 369-2425 x701 jerry@pacificpak.com. Go to Top |

Short Lead-Time & Cost Savings |
Pacific offers "like-new" reconditioned fillers based on availability. These machines are completely stripped down and
rebuilt with mostly new components. Currently, we have two filling machines to offer with short lead-times at roughly
25% less than the cost of a new machine:

Proper Technique for Gauging Fill Nozzle Shutoff Plungers |
One of the many unique features of a Pacific filling machine is the ability to set both the
upstroke and downstroke on individual filling stations. To ensure accurate fills, the
plunger upstroke and downstroke should be the same at each station.
Every filling machine is shipped factory set and usually requires no adjustment for a long period of time. If fill stations are consistently under or overfilling, use the recommended procedure below to gauge the stroke: |

If after gauging all the filling stations, you experience inaccurate fills, turn to the
"Troubleshooting" section of your Operators Manual or call Pacific for advice.
